Contemporary Art at Festivals
The Contemporary Art at Festivals Tour aimed to inspire festival producers, audiences and artists by commissioning and touring high quality and ground-breaking pieces of art from sculptural to digital.
Between 2009 and 2014, we commissioned diverse multimedia pieces that toured to a number of festivals including Secret Garden Party, Shambala, The Thames Festival and Shangri-la Glastonbury.
The project integrated ambitious new work by some of the UK’s most innovative artists into the fabric of a diverse range of music festivals including smaller, rural gigs and urban community events. The collection included large scale installations and interactive pieces from Mark Jenkins, Steve Cutts, Hayden Kays, Ron English, Doug Foster, Shepard Fairey, Studio Weave, The Darkroom, Tom Wilkinson, Blast Theory, Tim Etchells, Dan Coopey and Jim Woodall.
